Building & Lighting in multi dimensions.

Freelance 3D Generalist

My freelance journey took me to London, where I found myself working alongside some of the most talented teams in the industry Nexus Studios, Framestore, Feed me Light. Those years were a masterclass in high-pressure, high-stakes production.

I've helped bring fizz to Coca-Cola campaigns, built interactive experiences for British Airways travelers, and crafted visuals for music artists like Billie Eilish, ABBA, and Gorillaz. Each project pushed me to expand what I thought possible with light, motion, and spatial design.

After seven intense years in the capital, I made a deliberate choice: I moved back to Italy and built a studio that would let me work sustainably both creatively and personally. Now I collaborate remotely with international studios, bringing the same technical precision and creative energy.

Leading immersive R&D for a major construction firm taught me something crucial: the best uses of spatial technology aren't about spectacle, they're about clarity.

When teams can walk through a space before it's built, communication shifts. Design flaws surface early. Decisions become collaborative rather than contentious. Complex sequences become intuitive when you can experience them at full scale.

These principles apply far beyond construction. Using immersive tools to improve understanding, catch problems early, and align stakeholders works across training simulations, product visualization, spatial storytelling, and interactive experiences. The core skill remains the same: translating complexity into presence.

I bring that perspective to projects where spatial thinking creates value, helping clients implement immersive workflows that solve real problems rather than chase novelty.

STORIES

#NEXUS STUDIOS

I have deep gratitude for this Anglo-French company. They've been my lifeline at three critical moments in my career.

2012 - London arrival When I relocated to London, I was completely lost. My first interview with them was a turning point. I fell in love with the kind, passionate, talented people I met. They didn't just teach me English culture they showed me cutting-edge techniques for creating outstanding digital animation. I was hungry for knowledge, and they fed that curiosity.

2016 - After the startup crash Container 21, my first startup (literally founded inside shipping container number 21 next to the canals of London Fields), closed after two brutal years. My partner and I were financially and emotionally broken. Nexus picked me up from the dust and gave me a chance to bounce back.

2020 - Pandemic pivot I'd just returned to Italy when the pandemic hit. Remote work became business as usual. Thanks to our continued collaboration, I worked on some of the most beautiful frames of my career during one of the most uncertain periods.

2017 - The big corporation For two years, I led immersive R&D at the London headquarters of this major construction firm, focusing on virtual and augmented reality applications across design, construction methodology, and safety training.

It was an exceptional opportunity to apply spatial technology at scale working with architects, engineers, site managers, and executives to integrate immersive tools into actual project workflows. I learned how to navigate complex organizations, build cross-department and translate cutting-edge technology into practical business value.

The experience taught me as much about communication and organizational change as it did about XR implementation. I'm grateful for the trust they placed in me and the scope they gave me to experiment and push boundaries.

#STI ENGINEERING

2007 - This is where my career began At 19, I was an enthusiastic kid with big dreams and infinite passion for 3D. The owner trusted me from day one, and I led the company's transition from 2D drawings to 3D modeling, pioneering early BIM adoption in the Italian market.

Before I left in 2009, I was already testing the Vusix VR 920, an early virtual reality headset. Even then, I knew this was where the industry was headed.

Over the years, I've collaborated with them on various projects, implementing emerging technologies from immersive theater installations to mobile VR systems and holographic displays. It's been rewarding to watch the company evolve alongside the technology.

#NUDESIGN

2009 - First taste of professional 3D production The two founders were architects with an exceptional eye for detail and deep mastery of 3ds Max software I'd fallen in love with as a teenager.

Working there was a masterclass in craft. I learned how to approach each project with attention to detail, how to use light and shadow to create depth, and how to refine techniques to achieve photo-realistic results. They showed me the difference between making images and making beautiful images.

That foundation in high-end visualization shaped everything that followed in my career.

#IKON

2025 - Ecosystem This studio gave me the space to grow in new directions. I expanded into WebXR development, deepened my expertise in Blender, Unreal Engine, and Substance, and reconnected with what I love about spatial design.

What makes them special goes beyond the projects. They run their studio on solar energy, keep bees and grow fruits. They practice the kind of intentional, sustainable approach to work that I value, it's rare to find a company where creative technology and thoughtful living genuinely align.

I'm grateful for the trust they placed in me and the opportunity to develop skills that continue to shape my practice.
